Greenwood Parks and Recreation program is open to girls in kindergarten through 6th grade.
This division is part of a "share play" league within the South Metro Recreation League, which consists of Greenwood, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Belton, Raymore and Peculiar. All of the practices will be in Greenwood. Half of the games will be scheduled at home in Greenwood, with the remaining half being scheduled among the other towns. It has not yet been determined which towns Greenwood will share play with for the upcoming season. In the event we are able to register 4 or more teams, we will forego "share play" and all games will be played within the Greenwood league and at Hitt Park during weeknights.
The cost to play is $115 and includes a shirt w/ name printed on back, visor, basic photo package and end of year award. Additionally, players will be invited to participate in MLB's Pitch Hit and Run competition in Greenwood and a free morning skills clinic.
Practices are scheduled to begin the first week of April, while games will begin Mid-May and end Mid-July.
